The economic mechanisms that Xourse provides to its users are incentives for them to grow their network, yet focusing on integrating members that generate value for their communities or associations. It’s similar to the strategy of multi-level marketing companies but users can also provide services and consulting instead of a product.

Every member of Xourse will also look to promote and generate awareness of the platform and its advantages in currently existing communities, both online and traditional brick and mortar communities.

Revenue: is generated by charging a percentage of every payment and transaction on the platform. Similar to Upwork, EBay or Kickstarter. These are companies that provide services in a freemium model but charge a percentage of the income that the users generate in the platform.

Operations

Xourse is software company (in the future it might be more) so the bread and butter of every day is transforming requirements and business features into software tools and system that satisfy them. We are driven by continuous improvement through a constant feedback loop with users and industry experts that provides a clear view of the functionality that is essential to the customer base. This translates to agile development with methodologies like scrum, continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous delivery of software features.

Team

The current state of Xourse is 1 full time mid software developer and a part time senior software developer. Both are the founders. In the next months we will integrate a business leader to handle the launch of the first version of the platform and tackle initial growth and promotion.
